Australian National Botanic Garden

One of the best developed of the botanic garden sites. Internal icons provide quick links between the numerous resources.
The Oracle database includes the Australian Plant Name Index, the Herbarium specimen records, the Photographic collection, and the Living collections.
Some of the other interesting spots to visit are the garden themes, what's in flower this week, libraries of the Australian Nature Conservancy Agency, the international time check, and cool sites.
Georgeson Botanical Garden
This subarctic research facility is found near Fairbanks, Alaska and carries on investigations for suitable ornamental and edible plants. Details regarding, tours, happenings, history, and publications are part of the presentation.
Missouri Botanical Garden Home Page
The Missouri Botanical Garden is a reknowned international research centre as well as a large garden. It is one of the major gardens on the Web and this page provides access to information about the garden itself, educational programs, research and, a variety of databases. A valuable list of other sources of information on botany and biology are included.
Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew
This WWW site is an experimental web server. It provides some information about Kew Gardens but is primarily useful as an access point to many other gopher menus. Included are some European sources not found on North American gophers.
Royal Botanical Gardens, Hamilton
Located in Hamilton, Ontario, this is one of the premiere botanical gardens in Canada. The web site is under construction, and at present, only a text document is available to describe the resources of the gardens.
University of Delaware Botanic Gardens
Located in Newark at the College of Agriculture, a map is the gateway to tours that can be taken through 8 different theme gardens, such as those for herbacious, meadow, and greenhouse plants. Many parts are already well developed, but the site is still under construction.
Gopher access is provided to a searchable image collection. There are text descriptions, but the images take lots of memory.
