This flora is a major project to compile a systematic
conspectus and identification guide to all plants in North
America. It is both in print and online, allowing connections
with other wide-area floras. Much of it is still under
construction. Completed are Vol. 1: Introductory Essays and
Vol. 2: Pteridophytes and Gymnosperms.

This checklist is an ongoing project, begun in 1937, to
provide a complete taxonomic account of the vascular plants of
Texas. Specimens are housed in the Tracy Herbarium at Texas A
and M University.
